DYNAMIC FLOW

Dynamic Flow Yoga is a challenging, vibrant, energetic and rounded-holistic approach which embodies the internal and external dynamic and the rhythmic flow of yoga. Dynamic Flow is cultivated by Rani with influence from many traditions including vinyasa (or flowing) asana practice and from the Dynamic teaching method. Students are encouraged to cultivate their awareness of the inherit intelligence of the bodymind and are empowered to embrace and experience the Dynamic Flow.

The "Basics" are a class level for those new to yoga, just improving and/or returning after a long break(or even just for those who want a slower pacing.) Dynamic Basics cover the fundamentals of Dynamic Flow Yoga. Classes are taught a more inviting and pensive pace and introduce and review the basic foundations and principles of yoga posture practice in a fun and supportive environment. All abilites welcome, yoga is for everyone!

Dynamic Flow...

Do Yoga, Feel Good, Help Others, Be Happy.
Be Honest, Open, Sensitive, Intimate and Generous.
You are perfect exactly as you are.

Embrace the ever-changing flow of life.

DYNAMIC CORE

Dynamic Core uses the Dynamic Flow Yoga approach with the addition of specific postures, sequences, movements and integration of breathwork developed by Rani to cultivate and support vital core strength. Dyanic Core strengthening focuses naturally on the abdominal region, pelvis and back, but also on the deeper areas of the body activated when utilising and the yogic breathe (with the specific awakening of Mula Bhanda "The Master Key"). Students have called the class "the belly buster" while Rani refers to this class as "the fast track to deepeing your yoga practice." Come and enjoy the challenge and fun!

HATHA (Iyengar influenced)

Hatha yoga refers to the physicla aspect of yoga and represents opposing energies: hot and cold (fire and water, following similar concept as yin-yang), male and female, positive and negative. Hatha yoga attempts to balance mind and body via physical postures or asanas, purification practices, controlled breathing, and the calming of the mind through relaxation and meditation. Asanas teach poise, balance and strength and are practised to improve the body’s physical health and clear the mind in preparation for meditation in the pursuit of enlightenment. The Iyengar influence in these Hatha Yoga classes incorporates an emphasis on precision and alignment going deep into your practice with each posture being held for an extended period of time.

Hatha Vinyasa takes students through an envigorating, flowing posture practice with mixed influences. "Hatha" refers to all physical aspects of yoga and utlises the physical postures or asanas (all posture or asana practice in yoga is hatha,) While "Vinyasa" refers to the element of flowing movement. Bringing the postures together with this flow students are brought through an energetic and revitalising practice.
